the mediums:
"oil on canvas" is an oil painting on canvas prepared the traditional way with a sizing of rabbit skin glue and two or three layers of oil primer. "oil on board" is an oil painting on untempered masonite prepared with three or more layers of acrylic gesso, sanded between coats. "pastel"is a pastel painting on white rag board or Canson paper. "acrylic & pastel" is an underpainting of acrylic with a top layer of pastel, on Arches watercolor paper. "acrylic & pastel with marbledust" is an underpainting of acrylic and then painted with pastel on a heavy rag marbledust board . |
